Playing With Submodalities
Large Hadron Collider
Recently I’ve been wondering about the Large Hadron Collider
And how scientists can take a thing
Spin it fast in different directions and then
When the time is right
Smash the thing into itself.
Will it, the thing, collapse as a black hole?
Or morph into something new and more useful?
I like the sound of that.
A belief is such a thing
Sitting there inside your head
Mostly you don’t know how it got there
You might not even know it exists
Until some fracas.
You can bribe it, tempt it, and blackmail it
Even inflict the greatest pain
You can love it, nurture it, and defend it
It can become bigger or smaller.
A belief is just a thing that can be useful
Or not.
Recently I’ve been wondering about an unhelpful belief
Being stuck to a proton
Inside a Large Hadron Collider
Spinning fast in different directions and then,
When the time is right
Smashing it into itself.
Would a black hole emerge?
Or a new, more helpful belief?
You can imagine that.
Inside your own Large Hadron Collider.
